The third session of the "Hanergy Help Dream Action" student selection and Yunnan Dali Summer Camp was held

From April 10 to 13, 2015, the third session of the "Hanergy Help Dream Action" student selection and Yunnan Dali Summer Camp was held in Midu County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province。Wu Xinsheng, Deputy Director of Training Department of Tsinghua High School, Lin Jialei, Social Responsibility Department of Hanergy Holding Group, Zhang Xiaocun, Deputy Secretary General of Customs and Work Committee of Education Department of Yunnan Province, Chen Peirong, Director of Customs and Work Committee of Education Bureau of Dali Prefecture, Zhang Bo, Secretary General of Customs and Work Committee of Education Bureau of Dali Prefecture, Zhou Lili, Deputy Director of Education Bureau of Midu County, Pan Yijun, Vice President of Midu No. 1 Middle School, Minzu Township, Niujie County, Midu CountySchool chief Zhu Hongxiang attended the opening ceremony，Zhang Yufen, assistant director of the Department of Education of Yunnan Province, presided over the opening ceremony。

In the first two days of the summer camp, the students had a happy reunion activity, listened to the new energy knowledge lecture by Liu Yan, a volunteer of Hanergy Holding Group, and conducted a class test, psychological test and interview。The project team organized students to visit the Midu County Museum, learn about local history, culture and folk customs, and sing and dance together with local residents。On the last day of the summer camp, the students came to Niujie Yi Township National Middle School to have a party with the students there。In addition, the project team also visited the homes of individual students to gain an in-depth understanding of the students' living and learning conditions。

Yunnan Dali Summer Camp has been a complete success. The project team will use multi-dimensional selection criteria to conduct comprehensive evaluation and selection of participants, and select 8 outstanding students from all the participants in Yunnan Province to participate in the "Poor Family Talent Training Program - Hanergy Help Dream Action" program。

The activity was jointly initiated by the Working Committee for Caring for the Next Generation of the Ministry of Education, the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University, the Special Fund for Cultivating Chinese Talents of the China Next Generation Education Foundation and Hanergy Holding Group. The summer camp activity was strongly supported by the education authorities of Yunnan Province, Dali Prefecture and Midu County, as well as the Middle School of Niujie Yi Nationality Township。

"Hanergy Helps Dream Action" is the concrete embodiment of the High School attached to Tsinghua University to practice the school motto of moral commitment。The program selects outstanding rural junior middle school students from poor counties across the country every year for five consecutive years to be trained in Tsinghua Affiliated High School, and the selected students usually learn through the "Chinese Elite Air Class" in their original school。The project strives to create a diversified learning space for each student, so that each student can get an all-round development, form a correct outlook on life, inspire students' dreams, strive to train a group of talents for the motherland, and do their best to accelerate the realization of the Chinese dream。
